One final match remains for the LA Force in 2024 and it will be against Capo FC this Saturday at Veterans Memorial Stadium. LA Force has shut down Capo FC this season, as they have won 4 out of the last 5 bouts between the two clubs. Along with football domination, LA Force currently hold a 6 game win streak and hope to carry the momentum into playoffs.

Playoff Bound

The LA Force are making their way to playoffs, which entail the top two teams from each conference. However, the main concern was if the Force could hold onto first place to host the semi-final against Irvine Zeta.

LA Force has settled that question, as they have successfully claimed first place after taking down Irvine Zeta 2-0 this past weekend. The two goal scorers in Salazar and Mouhamadou War will be looking to add more in the net in the final regular season home game of the season.

This will be a match Dekel Keinan will want to remember as he will complete his first official regular season as the head coach.

This Saturday will be “Fans Night” at the Veterans Memorial Stadium, and the LA Force are excited to announce that the match is sponsored by Raising Canes.

Golden Glove Torman

Seth Torman has been in the club’s recent shoutouts, and he will return here in the preview as the keeper has a chance to be named the Golden Glove winner. The main keeper in Dekel Keinan’s squad, has the opportunity to get the first gold glove in LA Force’s history.

Torman is tied with Mitch North, of 405 rival Zeta FC, for the most clean sheets this season at 6. This Saturday will be the last chance for Seth Torman to show why he deserves the award in his first season with the LA Force.

2024 Regular Season Record:

13-2-2 (1st in NISA Western Conference)

Goals Scored: 38    Goals Allowed: 11   Clean Sheets: 9

Players To Keep An Eye On:

Michael Salazar #9: After scoring his 7th goal of the season in the 405 Derby. Salazar looks to try and score once more in one of the most crucial matches of the season.

Seth Torman #30: Now looking to make his 16th start of the 2024 season, Torman was able to hold Zeta FC to 0 goals last time around and make his argument to be the Golden Glove winner.

Capo FC Attempt To Avoid 5 Losses VS LA

After losing 4 matches in a row to LA Force, Capo FC will be looking to tie their final match of the season. With their position in the standings being sealed, that match is for pride and to go out with a bang.

The first season of NISA play will be remembered as a successful one for Capo FC. Placing third may not seem so exciting, but for a squad that struggled in USL 1 just a year ago. This new league feels like home for a young squad. It also helps when you have players like Dylan Shockey, to help lead your team to a new season in 2025.

Players To Keep An Eye On:

Dylan Shockey: Shockey was recently named to BEST XI for the month of August. His name always comes up in conversations when discussing Capo FC.

2024 Regular Season Record:

4-8-3  (3rd in NISA Western Conference)

Goals Scored: 17    Goals Allowed: 27   Clean Sheets: 2
