The second to final match between the LA Force and Capo FC will take place this Saturday, September 7th at JSerra Field. For Capo FC, the LA Force will be their final 2 matches of the season as they will have a week off after this match. The two clubs faced off just over two weeks ago in a 2-1 result in favor of the LA Force. A late goal, by Dante Brigida, sealed the victory. For this match, the LA Force will attempt to apply more pressure early and secure a better position in the Western Conference.

Fourth Time's A Charm

After taking down Capo FC in 3 out of the 4 matches completed, the Force will be looking to get their 4th win against the OC local squad. The first time these two clubs met, Capo FC was able to secure a favorable 2-0 victory over the Force. This would be the Force’s first loss of the season. The taste of defeat did not sit well with Keinan’s squad as now the club carries only two losses through 14 matches.

The Force would respond by out-scoring Capo FC 6-1 in the next following three victories against the club. LA will be going into the 5th game against Capistrano this Saturday and is hoping that fourth time’s a charm to secure a victory.

Three Matches Remain!

The LA Force currently holds 1st place in the Western Conference, and with three matches remaining, the Force must hold on with a victory. With a slim four-point lead over Zeta FC, the Force are looking to get another three points against Capo. A win will put the Force in a great position with 35 points on the table and must hope for a Zeta FC loss to secure first place this weekend.

Michael Salazar’s services will be needed against Capo FC as he has contributed a goal in his last 6 appearances. Salazar is a player that Force fans know will be on the pitch, but the selection of wingers by Keinan is one that everybody is curious about. Dante Brigida scored the winning goal against Capo FC in the last matchup, however, War and Quist have gotten their flowers throughout the season. Regardless of the selection, the Force will remain dominant in the attacking third.

Players To Keep An Eye On:

Michael Salazar #9: After scoring his 7th goal of the season in the 405 Derby. Salazar looks to try and get to double digits in the last four games of the year. A team he has scored twice against keep an eye out to have multiple shot opportunities.

Garrett Hogbin #12: The center back from Mission Viejo would be making his 10th appearance for the LA Force this season. A solid defender for the back line, Hogbin and Torman have worked well to command the squad up. His presence on the field is well acknowledged and will be versus Capo FC.

Capo FC Will Finish In Third

Capo FC made their NISA debut this 2024 season and were hoping to cause some issues for well-established clubs like the LA Force. Capo has now been a part of four different leagues in the past 4 years and is trying to make NISA their home. Not an outstanding season by any means, but the club still managed to accrue 15 points through 14 matches. Now Capo FC will be looking to cause chaos at the top of the table in the final two matches against LA Force.
