The LA Force are making their way to San Juan Capistrano to take on Capo FC, this Wednesday, at JSerra field. The LA Force, who have been unbeaten in their last five regular season matches, are ready to bring the fight to Capo FC to try and hold their first place crown. After last week’s forfeit by Arizona Monsoon FC to LA Force, the club has propelled to the top of the Western Conference standings with 26 points. However, there is no comfortable lead with Irvine Zeta FC trailing behind by only 1 point. All the drama will be played out on the pitch, in yet another exciting NISA midweek match. We hope to see some Force fans in attendance !

The Battle For First !

Last week’s matchup against Arizona Monsoon FC had unfortunately been canceled due to unforeseen complications. However, the LA Force were appointed 3 points because of the forfeit, and now find themselves in first place. The battle for first place of the Western Conference has been going on since the early matches of May with both LA Force and Irvine Zeta reaching the top to be champions.  NISA fans have had the pleasure to watch two outstanding clubs with much promise take on each other head on, but the Force must focus on winning other regular season matches.

Now the LA Force will be hosting the Capo FC in a bout that both teams desperately need to win. The match history among these two clubs heavily favors the Force, as the boys in gold and black have won two of the three matches this season. Dekel Keinan’s squad will be entering the match on a 3 game win streak, including NISA Independent Cup matches played earlier this month. The club also has been unbeaten in their last 5 matches of the regular season. We are now in the final half of the 2024 regular season, it is time for a strong finish by the Force, and it starts this Wednesday against Capo FC.

Watch The Wing !

The wingers for the Force are one of the key reasons why the club’s attack is so dominant. On a weekly basis, Dekel Keinan has to decide on which of his best wingers start on matchday. However, one man has remained in the starting lineup for weeks now, and that is Joel Quist. The two time Man Of The Match winner,  has been a consistent piece for the LA Force this season. His flair with the ball is what attracts many eyes to Joel Quist. He is capable of creating separation from a defender that not many other wingers are capable of doing. Quist’s speed and confidence to implement skill to his game is what separates him from his peers. Now looking to make his 10th start for the LA Force in 2024, expect him to take on Capo FC with ferocity.

2024 Regular Season Record: 8-2-2 (1st in NISA Western Conference)

Goals Scored: 25    Goals Allowed: 10   Clean Sheets: 4

Force Players To Keep An Eye On:

Josue Cartagena GK #17: The recent transfer, from ex-NISA club Flower City Union, has been an important substitute for Keinan’s team. Cartagena has been limited to his starts, but when he comes onto the pitch, expect his energy to be felt. The vocal midfielder is coming off his two goal performance to win the NISA Independent Cup for the club.

Joel Quist  M #25: With 9 starts and 2 goals on the season for the LA Force, expect to see Quist in the starting lineup once again. You may find Quist on the left side of the pitch, but expect him to constantly switch sides in this match against Capo FC.

Welcome Back To NISA !

Capo FC has been a well structured club since 2006. The club has tried establishing itself in a specific league, and now find themselves in NISA. After spending the 2023 season in USL 2,  the club made the decision to transfer leagues and join LA Force in the Western Conference. Now the club finds itself in 3rd place with improvements coming every week to the squad.

Capo FC have won 2 of their last 3 games in 2024, and intend on winning another against the LA Force. The club got an early season 2-0 victory against the LA Force, but since then the Force have had their number. Now 11 points behind first place in the Western Conference Standings, Capo FC are looking to end their season strong by not allowing any easy victories. Matches are now more intense than ever and Capo FC are not a club to be taken lightly.
