The LA Force have a chance to hoist a NISA Independent Cup trophy this Sunday, July 28th, at the LBCC Soccer Field. The boys in Gold & Black will host the Valley Raiders, also known as SC Union Maricopa, a team out of the UPSL. Force fans are encouraged to come support the boys as they look to crown themselves champions this Sunday at 6 PM.
LA Force’s Path To Glory
The Force have held themselves to some high expectations this season. In short, Cup Final and reaching the top of the regular season standings are exactly what the men in Gold & Black want. The club has demonstrated quality football throughout the NISA regular season as the Force hold a record of 6-2-2, with 23 points, just two behind first-place Zeta FC. The Force have only one Cup match under their belt, which was a commanding 7-0 win over Laguna FC, where the whole squad got in on the action. Now coach, and player, Dekel Keinan will push his men to new heights as they now set their eyes on the Cup Final.

Force Players To Keep An Eye On:
Michael Salazar #9 : Having scored in his last 3 appearances, Salazar, also known as El Capitan, will be leading the team into the Cup Final. His willingness to not only create opportunities for himself, but for his teammates is what separates him from the rest of the pack. A great center forward, Salazar has the pass first mentality and it will help the LA Force in this match.
Justin Jovel #7 : The midfielder who most recently made his 30th appearance for the club has been outstanding and a key players for the team this season. The vision he has to give wingers, like War and Quist, a chance to penetrate the final third is some of the best in NISA. The Force squad rely on his relentless pressure he applies on oponnents. Jovel is an important midfielder for the Force, and expect to see his contribution this upcoming match.
Valley Raiders Representing UPSL
A league that has been well respected for some time now has a representative in a NISA Independent Cup Final. The UPSL is a very well-known league across the U.S. with an abundance of clubs as the league enters its 13th year of play. The Valley Raiders, also known as SC Union Maricopa, are going to take on the LA Force for the first time in the club's history. However, the club will be walking in with their heads up high as they have proven themselves through the first and second rounds of the NISA Independent Cup.
Throughout the two rounds of NISA Cup play, the Raiders have outscored opponents 8-1. Many of those goals came from the remarkable 5-0 win over, Western Conference rival, Arizona Monsoon FC. The Raiders will be looking to upset the Force at LBCC Soccer Field, and raise the Cup for their own glory.
